This drawing was done in high school. I entered it in a contest my junior year, and I won first place with it.
it is one of my favorite drawings that I've ever done, because this is really the first portrait that I ever completed.
It's faded a lot now, but I still enjoy it.

I am really impressed that you did this in high school.
The high school I went to started cutting art classes to save money. What did use to draw this first portrait? Have you ever drawn a portrait from a live model or have you always uses pictures as a reference?
I never would have guessed that this was your first drawing. Does your talent come natural or did it form and grow through art classes?
